As a side note; it was amazing to me, and freaky, when I went shopping how much of my information the insurance companies had about me at their finger tips. All I had to give the agent or web site was my name and, wham, they had all my data filled out.
Then there were the seemingly endless...
I would point out that no one is mentioning their coverage and deductibles when they mention premium costs. I could probably reduce my premiums by $100 a month by decreasing my liability coverage and deductibles. For instance, in a previous thread, a fellow mentioned he had $25,000 liability.
Last summer I decided to see if I was getting a good deal through USAA or not. I got quotes from AAA, Allstate, State Farm and GEICO. AAA was the biggest increase followed by SF and Allstate. AAA also charges 3% on any balance if you opt to pay monthly. USAA does not.
I'm paying $637.47 for...
You knew this was coming.

Hi SC_Ruby.... We're going up on Saturday, the 29th, to meet you guys at Schooner's Wharf. We'll be heading out around 1pm or so from Woodland Hills.
After dinner we're going up to Salinas for the night.
Yeah, it's an old thread...
Drove from LA to SLC the other day. 700 miles going up and down hills (sea level to 4000 feet). Only using 91 oct.
LA to Vegas I got 32.6 at 70mph. Got 32 mpg to Saint George where I put on 4 gallons (cheap gas). Reset the mpg readout in SG and got 31.1 into SLC...
If you enjoy MoPar's as well, next weekend (8th & 9th) is the big show, The Spring Fling, at Woodley Park just off the 405 & 101 freeways. It's a big, popular show for the MoPar crowd.

The following week is the Queen's English car show at Woodley Park as...
In previous cars I always had a 5 or 6 speed stick, and by simply laying a hand on it you knew what gear you where in. Not so, in the heat of battle, so to speak, with an automatic and paddle shifters. When I am making a hard right hand 270* turn on a mountain road I'm not looking inside...

I want a HUD!
Don't know about your neck-of-the-woods, but on our roads I would love to have the RPM and selected gear...
I parked across the street at the Sears lot last year and it worked out well.
Was nice to be able to bail when we'd seen everything we where interested in, and I'd gotten my Mustang Hawaiian shirt :)
Understanding the routing is a work in progress, but trying to figure out the hotel nights.
From SoCal we're going to Cambria Thursday, then backtrack to Cayucos for Saturday evening or just dinner that evening and back to Cambria. Then leave Cambria Sunday morning to drive up to Sand City...
You guys piqued my curiosity with all these great prices by Geico.
Using their online site I was able to save $225 every 6 months, but, with less coverage than USAA is providing. The higher rate is zeroed out though, because USAA pays me a yearly "profit" check based on how well the company...
Just my personal opinion based on the litigious society we live in, along with the high cost of cars and the ever more crowded freeways. And the uninsured drivers out there as well.
Witness all the lawyer ads on TV. Then all the $100k cars that are becoming the norm any more and a $100k...
Based solely on your post, I'd suggest you look into an Umbrella policy to cover your butt. It will keep you from losing your house when your under insured Mustang runs into a Tesla with a high performance lawyer driving it.
