My base GT with the A10 was a little clunky when new.
At around 10k miles I decided to drive in in sport+ mode exclusively.
Gas mileage was almost exactly the same and the sport + mode is MUCH more enjoyable to me.
At about 19k now the trans seems to have adapted to my driving style and 90% of...
I had the Bilsteins on an s197 and really liked the ride.
But the front struts seemed to raise the front ride height a little.
Have you noticed this at all on your s550?
I'm using the stock springs and have taller tires and the wheel gap is fine for me right now.
But I don't want it any...
I saw the grabber LIME for 2020 and knew that was the color for me.
Was in the middle of a house refinance because COVID malarkey till after the 2020my was over.
Did an internet search on just green 2020 Mustangs in January of 2022.
Found 2 for sale in the entire country.
The one I bought was...
You know, that may be the problem. The car had a previous owner, and it's possible they tuned it and fooled around with traction control?
My old buddy had a 2010 SS Camaro and it had a launch control setting, and he could just mash it and it would go as fast as the traction allowed. And it was...
That's exactly what I'm after.
If I go WOT from a standstill, I want my tires to hook every time.
If it's cold or they're cold, then that's understandable.
Your rear tires are pretty wide, and I guess that's what is needed.
Thanks for your comment, I was beginning to think there was no chance...
You know, I bought this car used with only 2900 miles on it, from a Ford dealer in Detroit.
It had 2° tint all around, even had about 35° on the windshield.
It had PPF on the front, and an X pipe, and a box of Katskins in the trunk.
I wouldn't be surprised if it had been tuned as well.
My woman...
Yeah, I think I'm gonna try the NT555r2's.
Good news is, if they suck, I'll need to replace them in no time.
And if they work, I won't mind replacing them in 6k.
I've got about 12k on them and they, still look new to me.
They did seem to have a lot more stickiness when I first put them on. I have a road base driveway and there would be rocks stuck all over them.
I wonder if they have a much softer exterior layer that gets worn off after 5-10k? 🤷🏼♂️
I'm...
Thanks for your input.
No, as I mentioned in my original post, I have the cb005 BMR cradle lock out parts. And no wheel hop.
Just loss of traction, at I'd say, half throttle from a dig.
No, what I meant was it tried to kill me stock, BEFORE the cboo5 installation.
That's a great part, still spins during hard shifts, but the rear doesn't kick out anymore.
And zero wheel hop.
