I did that, be advised the 22 rangers have a massive delay between the time you hit the throttle and the time the vehicle responds. I have a hard time living with that. But a tune and they run way better. Good luck on your decision! Other than the delay I enjoy everything else about the truck...

I have music directly on my phone and it doesn't sound anywhere near as clean as the thumb drive. And yes it pretty much is like a cd as I have over 130 CDs on it.

Music quality through usb is 10 times that of streaming through smart phone. And i haven't figured out any way to play random. I just made a playlist with 1to3 songs from each folder(I have over 130 folders on a 64gb thumb drive) I listen to it constantly

I chose 275/40 for the extra sidewall height to maintain ride comfort. Steering input difference is negligable. After that just comes down to choice.

Yes, fairly easy install and you can choose the colors. Lots of threads about them on here. I had mine installed because my bad back wouldn't let me do the work. They are actually higher quality than the factory premium leather in the wife's Ecoboost.
