From experience I own a 2011 GT Brembo Pack and completely stock it run a 12.7 at 111 MPH. With a tune and 305 tires it run a 12.3 at 116. I once try my tuned GT against a Boss 302 and both cars were dead even up to 120. So I am sure it too could run a 12.3 completely stock.
I fully loaded GT is not that far apart, I think its like 45k. Either way at 47k the GT350 is a steal when it comes to value for your money. A GT will be half its initial price in 3 or 4 years while the GT350 will most likely keep most of its value. The hard part is finding a GT350 as MSRP...
At the time those were pretty consisted times from other magazines as well.although I also read some 12.7s so I guess it all depends really. The 2011 Mustang GT also run a 12.7 so that doesn't meant the GT is faster. There are too many variables that affect quarter mile times. The only way to...
The Z28 runs the same quarter mile compared to the Boss 302. Both at 12.3, that doesn't mean the Boss 302 is faster at the track. The new Camaro has similar power to the Boss 302 and runs the same 12.3 as the Boss 302 and the Z28. I believe the GT350 will be running a 12.0 for the R and a 12.1...

Can someone comfirmed me if I am correct but I remember Ford saying that the GT350 R will be making a bit more power than the regular GT350. Lets not forget that the GT350 R is the true competition for the Camaro Z28. With that being said, it seems like both the GT350 R and the Camaro...
Congrats man, you have a sick looking ride with just the right mod. You can't go wrong with Forgestar. I am still waiting for my 19x11 and 19x9.5 deep convave cvf5 in black graphite. I am going with 305s on the back though. My car is your previous car. 2011 GT with the track pack. I am really...
This engine bay looks like the one in the 2006 Mustang GT. Quite honestly I like the engine bay on my 2011 Mustang GT better than the new one but in all honesty, what makes it look that good it's nothing but a cheap piece of plastic on top of the engine and I am totally against fake staff with...
Well remember those words in 40 years. Even then the Shelby's from Ford are not overprice at all, you get what you pay for. The high mark ups by dealers is another dilemma all together.
As Far as I know the Boss 302 is the same weight as my 2011 Mustang GT track pack. Right at around 3600 lbs. This might have bigger brakes, tires and wheels, but it also has lighter components, the wheels might be forged so they might actually be around 9 lbs lighter per wheel, also the exhaust...
There are many reasons, I won't bother explaining them but I don't think rotating tires is much of a concern for this type of car. I even have staggered tires in my 2011 Mustang GT 255 front and 285 rear in a 11 and 9.5 inch forged wheel.
My question is, are this the Carbon fiber wheels, there...
I don't think it will be Z28 expensive but it will be up there in the 60s no doubt. The 1LE is a gutted Camaro SS with parts from the ZL1. Its like putting gt500 wheels and suspension in the Mustang GT, not the same as what the GT350 is.
Have no doubt that this was build to beat the Z28. That new Magnetic suspension, 10.5 and 11 inch wide wheels mean the rubber ain't small either. Ford has what it takes to make a monster and this one is special, the engine specially. N/A 5.2 liter making around 529 hp I am predicting.
This engine is probably lighter than the one in the GT if not the same. The added weight usually comes from other components since this is a NA car. I hope this car stays at around 3750 lbs.
