True… I just listened to the sound again and mine isn’t so rythmical. On idle mine is quite random.

Yes, it’s the same sound. So yours immediately went away just by using different oil filter?? You didn’t do anything else to it? Not even changed oil to a different brand?
  7. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

Hello, what do you mean by OP please? I have just changed my oil to Yacco 5W-20 as I read and heard good things in terms of the tick. Currently have 50 kms on this new oil and waiting if it stops by itself or I will need to add Ceratec. You think Yacco oil might help on itself after some kms?
  8. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

Thanks for that! Do you know approx. after how long or how many miles it usualy ā€œgoes awayā€ after adding Ceratec?
  9. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

Do you know if there is any oil brand in terms of 5W-30 that does the trick in terms of the tick generaly for people?

I have late 2016 GT and using 5W-20 synthetic. So would you recommend using 2 cans? Is it better in any way other than just 1 can?
  14. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

  16. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

Okay, I just have fresh oil, only 50 km on it so far, so I think it’s still okay to pour it in.
  17. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

I’m using synthetic 5W-20 on my GT. You think it will also work?
  18. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

It did for you? You have good experience with it?
  19. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

So if I understand correctly, you had the tick but after 1 can of Ceratec it went away? How long it took to go away after you put Ceratec inside? Is 1 can of Ceratec enough? Some say 2 cans.
  20. Typewriter/BBQ tick - Ceratec

I use synthetic 5W-20 as recommended… do you think a can of Ceratec could also help me? Is it better to apply 2 cans or try it firstly on 1 can? After how long or how many miles did you see a difference after applying Ceratec?
