The Boss is a special car, and while Chevy eventually beat it in numbers they never really captured the driving dynamics (I haven't driven the new Z/28, mind). If, as everyone said the SRA was the limiting factor, expecting the new GT to provide the balance, and driving dynamics plus more...
Looks great. A must have for me if I get the new car. Still need to drive a PP Manual GT before deciding if in biting now or after they announce GT350 specs. Finally narrowed my colour choices to orange and white.
Having driver the new car myself I get what you are saying even if I too had trouble explaining it perfectly enough for others to understand. The new car is tighter, but not sharper if that makes any sense.
I'm starting to lean toward the wait. Either that or stepping up my budget. Was thrilled to wait for the new Mustang but it's just not a big enough driving leap from my current car to warrant a trade. Perhaps the GT350? Or a 2016 GT?
Pulled over, got out to check the latch as that was the initial thought as well. It's almost as if the aluminum is too thin and flutters in the wind, which of course doesn't make any sense. I did direct the dealership to my review here so hopefully they look at it and it is as simple as...
I rember the last time Ford decided the future was 4 cylinders and ignored the 6. I hope they don't make that mistake again and so have decent ecoboost 6 cylinder motors available. I could totally get into a twin Turbo 6 Mustang. A 4? Sorry, never as that's too much demand for the motor IMHO.
I asked the same question of the salesman and suggested the service dept take a look at the car. I may be an early build and my early build Boss was delivered with about a dozen front side fasteners loose and needing to be torqued down by the dealer. I may revisit this car.
Thanks. I'm a Mustang fan of course, but a car enthusiast first and foremost, so I tried to approach the car with as little bias as possible. On another note, black had underwhelmed me in photos but it looks great in person. I won't be buying black though as I've gone that direction twice before...
Appreciate the comment. Not sure what the gearing was as I wasn't really interested in the car being it was an auto but I did figure it was a chance to get put and drive one and get the lay of the land. A lot to love, but I'm not willing to compromise on my next car and this particular car felt...
Hopefully you don't have it. Watch the flat area to the right of the character line on the hood just ahead of the windshield for play in reflected light.
I hadn't seen it on any modern car as well, thus my reference to an 80's convertible where cowl shake was almost a given. When I pointed it out to the salesman, he even was surprised. Don't think he'd noticed it before. Overall I suppose it could be considered a minor issue but it would be...
Took a black 2015 Mustang GT out for a short test drive today. Let me begin with the positives.
The car looks fantastic, far better in person than in pictures as the saying has become.
The interior is a big upgrade. Having said that, there is still room for improvements but at least there is...
