Good thread idea. I've noticed that motorcycle people in this area are weird about sharing their favorite riding routes. Weird like paranoid or secretive. Hopefully I can find some good driving routes here.

$1400 per year for full coverage. I live in DC and have a couple points. It's crazy to see how little others pay when they live in rural areas with good driving records.

Since yours will be a toy, forget the center gauges and go base PP with Recaros!

The ecoboost can certainly deliver speed, value and most importantly - fun. But I've never heard a good sounding 4-cyl, turbo or otherwise.

This forum may or may not be representative of the entire Mustang owner population, but I've never heard of a single GT owner with EB/V6 envy.

I am admittedly new to Mustangs but it seems that the general rule of thumb is that when you're comparing between base/premium, pp/non, V6/eco, eco/GT, go with the higher one and don't look back!

It seems like you're setting yourself up to go GT from the start. I love my ecoboost but I kind of wish I sprung for the GT. I would bet you'd be happy either way. PS - Chameleon, how many "popcorn" replies have you posted since you joined?

I drove 140 miles in the snow - the slowest and smoothest I've ever driven - and got the claimed 31mpg. Pretty impressive compared to my first car, a 5-speed 1.8L Mazda Protege, which never got anywhere near that.

Nice! S550s were clearly the majority out there. Is that usually the case? Also, anyone else rely on the factory navigation to get to cars & coffee in Dulles? It's quite aggravating having to use Google Maps on your phone because you're unable to pull it up on your nicely integrated big screen...

Glad I didn't get those summer tires but that doesn't help with my PP envy. Also I need to move somewhere warmer! Those who swapped for winter wheels/tires did you get smaller rims? Do they even make winter tires in the same sizes as stock tires?
