  1. Gears for boosted 6spd

I hear you on the rims/tires. Are you current rims 10"? You're going to want a 305 or 315 out back. You also may want to investigate upgrading the bushings, control arms and the like to stabilize the ride and mitigate any wheel hop. Good sticky tires and limiting deflection will keep the rear...
  2. Gears for boosted 6spd

what HKusp says - with 3.73s (tho I have Tremec, I believe the trans ratios are close enough to compare) I would prefer somewhere around the 3.30 rear gear, but this all depends on the goal. Drifting and track - you may want to keep it at 3.73 or higher. Depends on the goal and what you can live...

  5. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Its going to be louder and deeper. I have tried to get the only video I have of exhaust to load. My step son took one on his iPhone and since Im android I cant upload it. I'm too dumb to just take one on my own phone. See if this works

  10. I will have a whipple 1 yr from today :)

I am talking about not blowing off the tires at 2500. The Coyote breathability and power is best from 3500-4000 up to 7000-7500. This is where the TVS lacks (up top) and the 3.0 liter Whipple breathes very well
  11. I will have a whipple 1 yr from today :)

This is my experience. I had a 2014 with a TVS and the torque was there at like 2000 rpm. Now on my 2022 with the Whipple the torque comes on around 3500 rpm. Ive heard there is a (cant remember the exact terminology) a boost control that prevents boost before the 3500 range. For the power it...

  14. 2022 Mach 1 Whipple build

Got out for a short drive yesterday and finally took it to 6,000. No wheel hop, grab and go with minimal wheel spin. Felt excellent! Still need another 500 to get to full break in
  15. Is your Mustang a 2-seater or a 4-seater?

Something I don't like about the rear seat delete. Would be nice to have the option to fold it down
  16. 2022 Mach 1 Whipple build

Agree on Raxiom. The 3 on the pillar is too much for me. I already struggle with too many options in the dash settings.
  17. 2022 Mach 1 Whipple build

Correct. I crumpled aluminum foil into a loosely compacted ball and place it under the hood onto of the Whipple. It compressed to about an inch and three-quarters or seven-eights. Hardly enough for a tower brace to fit.
