  1. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

Since the 6th generation, I was originally a Camaro guy (I know, I know) and really enjoyed my 17 SS on the alpha platform. The Mach 1 is every bit as agile as my SS was, so a 480 HP 5.0 with 7,500 redline made this a no brainer as a replacement. I’ve only had to opportunity to get her on track...
  2. For a daily driver with plans to track it, GT350 or GT?

I may be biased, but the Mach1 was made for people like you. It’s got the proven tack times and performance you’re after with the 350, with the proven reliability of the 5.0 power plant you’d want In a daily driver. If it’s novelty you’re after we are on pace for there to be considerably fewer...
  3. How many miles can you put on a Mustang V8 before it starts falling apart?

Just look on the road my friend, tons of Mustangs from every generation still cruising the highways. This is a good sign.
  4. Howdy folks! Coming from a C7 Zo6 and GT350

Came over from a 6th Gen Camaro SS to my Mach 1. Aside from paint quality, the Mustang seems to be a much more solid vehicle and considerably more engaging/fun to drive. Not that the alpha platform was bad, I’m just enjoying the Mach 1 more.
  5. 2022 Mach 1 Handling Package-Yay or Nay?

Agreed, while most will chalk the upgrade up to splitters, wheels and tires, $4500 bucks is a good deal for those components, get it from Ford.

If the vin doesn’t indicate it being a different model, then it isn’t. Your insurance card will say mustang Mach 1 all the same.

  8. Pick One:. Active Exhaust or Magneride

With the huge aftermarket for great looking and great sounding cat back exhaust set ups, I would vote for the magnaride. It does wonders for taming the S550’s weight and is responsive and comfortable at the same time.
  9. Stock 2021 Mach 1 vs Stock 2021 GT

Rear end is shared with the GT350 as is the front subframe. Suspension is different with separate components, and really? The body and interior? The Mac1 has about as much in common with the GT as the GT has in common with an eco boost.
  10. Stock 2021 Mach 1 vs Stock 2021 GT

I don’t understand why this vehicle is continually compared to a 5.0, save the block everything about it is different. Different steering ratio, cooling, ventilation, aero, bushings, struts, springs, tuning, sways, intake, manifold, TB, exhaust, front and rear fascia, transmission, shifter, ect...
  11. HP GT vs MACH 1

If for no other reason than consistency and the transmission, these are entirely different cars. The sheer amount of coolers on it would net you better 1/4 mile times after the 2nd pass and the Tremec is the replacement Ford has needed for the 5.0 this entire 6th generation. Apples to Oranges.
