Ignore the haters... If you can get beyond the sound (a non-issue for me), the Ecoboost is a better all-around model. Lighter, less weight in the front, better gas mileage and an exhaust note that doesn't say "I am an avid viagra user!"
Is anyone else kinda ticked that COBB obviously has its exhaust finished and hasn't even released any info or a formal exhaust video? Have they hired Ford's marketing department? They're really late to the game.
I know a few of the salesmen there and they know I'm on the prowl for a new 'stang... I could probably get a test drive if I wanted to. They've been trying (unsuccessfully) to talk me into buying a GT.
Need a workout? Use a good amount of 845 and let it cure for two hours. Your arms will be useless for the rest of the day.
845 is still my go-to utilitarian wax. You can use it on anything, and it won't discolor trim. It beads like crazy and lasts for months. Best wax for the money, IMO...
This is basically a placeholder since neither of these cars have been released yet (let alone officially announced for the M2). I'm curious how these two will stack up as they'll probably compete in the same price bracket, and they're both sold as a "track" model. The GT350 will almost...
Re-tuned 2.7L from the Edge Sport. Longshot, but it could happen... 350-375hp would definitely bridge the gap between the EB and the V8, and the 3.7 can finally be put out to pasture. I think there would be much rejoicing from the "I'd love to have a 4 cylinder, but I'm buying a V8 because it...
As a former ST owner (drove the ST to the dealership to test drive the EB) I came away with the same thought. My car had the COBB stage 1 tune as well. I'm pretty sure that a lot of it had to do with my tune, and the 87 octane my dealer (assuming) put in. After looking at COBB's EB dyno...
If possible, if I were you I'd do that after you figured the noise out... I'd imagine that it would be possible for the dealer to blame the modified exhaust.
