  3. Gauge Engineering Test Mode

Old Guard This is of interest to me. I have been logging my indicated vs calculated for over a year now and my car over estimates by .9 miles. I wonder what direction (left or right) and how much would adjust that out.
  4. How many hours have you driven your Mustang?

Calculate your average miles per hour. It's very humbling to think you are driving a 400 plus horsepower Mustang at an average of 27.16 mph.
  5. Anyone know what this switch is for under the dash?

This was taken from page 140 in the UK Mustang Owners Manual regarding how you reset your fuel pump shut-off. I also tried a search for gr3b-63044f09-a, no hits. Unable to find anything that resembles it under my dash both left and right side. In the event of a moderate to severe collision...

  9. What does your 5.0 GT weigh?

Just for a quick reference, I would use 6.2 lbs per gallon for fuel weight . Making a full tank of 16 gallons at 99.2 lbs. I am using a specific gravity of .743 which should be close to E10 unleaded 91-93 octane. A specific gravity of .743 is 74.3 percent the density of water. Since a gallon...

  13. S550 = "pretty" car

I do not have a problem with it. When my wife first saw "our" mustang at the dealership she immediately remarked how pretty (her exact words) the color was. Within five minutes of look around the car she was complementing the lines and style. So bottom line is…….if you are single and every...

  18. Chains or snow tires

I agree with OLD_CAR_GUY you are best suited with a dedicated snow tire. I grew up in Kansas and our family had a set of snow tires that we put on around November. I must admit that these chain alternatives look much easier to put on but, not sure how long they would last...

Road Runner Lane is just 2 streets over from there.
  20. Key Fob and car storage question

I would recommend that you look into a FOB pouch that will block the signal. As Redline727 mentioned your car will be sensing the key. Try an experiment and wrap your FOB in aluminum foil. Here is an example of a pouch. http://www.fobguard.com
