I think I read somewhere that those black parts (wing, caps and trunk panel) are not painted but manufactured with the color in the mold. Some sort of color impregnated process? Could be wrong but I do know they are very easy to scratch.

No issues here. June 2017 build. Just dropped the oil today at 6000 miles. AC blows cold. Very little oil use.

For my 17, Just hit 5K. I know, I know...love to drive it more often but its a 5th car, weekend warrior, tucked away in the garage most of the time. I love it though and it kinda sucks when you have other cars that need driving. Who has that much time.

I loved my X pipe as well. I found the Quality to be better than expected. It arrived in 3 days. My mechanic had zero issues installing it. Sounds fantastic.

My 2017 currently is using about a 1/2 quart every 3k (with spirited driving). I drop the oil every 3k anyway, so I have no problems with that whatsoever. A friend of mine also has a 17, his uses about 1/3 Quart between Oil changes (3K). 17's are fine.

Having lived in the Bay area, I cant imagine it being a good place for getting a car at Sticker. Even in San Diego, where I am, I had to go out of state. Its easy, zero problems with DMV, and you WILL get a better deal with more selection. Just saying... Good luck. These cars are phenomenal !

I was a hesitant at first as well installing the shiftek. Pulled the trigger, now I could never go back. The sound never gets tiring. Definately do it. its simply awesome!

If you can get a set of GT350 Recaros, you will be glad you did. Snug yet very comfortable. Best seats I have ever owned.
