  1. Easy money

$100 is laughable if you lose your car for 1 - 2 weeks.
  2. Parking Lot Nonsense

Waste of an M4. That tree took it like a boss.
  3. Parking Lot Nonsense

I like this. Kind of reminds me of a story I heard on another forum. Someone parked extremely close to the OP's driver side, forcing him to enter the car from the passenger door. He promptly got his Club, smashed in the other person's driver's window, locked the Club to the steering wheel...
  4. Guys, should I get the performance package?

That's not exactly true, you just got the typical dumbass salesman. When I was in Montreal a couple of weeks ago, I saw at least 2 - 3 GTs (and a convertible GT) running around. I've seen at least two around Waterloo / Kitchener, and there are even more up in Toronto. Well, there's no helping...
  5. Drive modes

Oh, I didn't know that. So...to clarify things, the 'track mode' and 'sport mode' on the premium really just shut off / reduce Traction Control and/or Stability Control in conjunction with switching the steering feel from normal/comfort to sport? So basically, on the base GT, you *can* engage...
  6. Guys, should I get the performance package?

Especially that Torsen limited slip diff, which I greatly desire over a normal loaded spring clutch pack LSD, if/when I get a Mustang GT.
  7. S550 Mustang Track Day

    Well done.
  8. STI vs GT handling

Would you trust the Coyote to be super robust and reliable, based on your years of experience as a mechanic? I'm leery about turbo engines now, ever since my turbo started smoking on my speed 3, I would prefer an engine that I know I can beat the literal hell out of and it would laugh at my...
  9. STI vs GT handling

Yeah, I think I saw a pic on NASIOC or IWSTI of that WRX's FA20DIT's valves. An OCC would help, but there's the issue of installing one, making sure it remains installed and the hoses don't pop off, cleaning it every now and then, etc. I think that if manufacturers want to keep DI around in...
  10. STI vs GT handling

You'd have to be a fool to buy a 2015/2016 STI right now when Subaru has said that they will change to all DI engines by 2017, never mind that the EJ257 is an unreliable POS.
  11. Touch up paint? Or get hood repainted?

Hold on a second. This paint job has a substantial dollar value attached to it.
  12. Guys, should I get the performance package?

Keep in mind that the PP has a Torsen LSD, and not the Traction-Lok LSD. The two types of LSD accomplish the same thing, but the Torsen is better at it.
  13. Guys, should I get the performance package?

Has Ford ever offered the Mustang with Torsen LSD but in 3.55 gears?
  14. Guys, should I get the performance package?

PP in Canada is $3700. Probably still worth it for the amount of stuff you get with it, including the Torsen LSD (instead of the Traction-Lok LSDs), Brembos, additional braces etc. Now is also a good time to get a Mustang, it seems, with employee pricing discounts.
  15. Sold My S550 Yesterday...Sad Day

Much tougher as in.... not enough interior room for the clients?
  16. UPR Oil Separator list for everyone interested.

This is the EXACT reason why there are no oil catch cans / AOS on cars these days. You have to clean it out every now and then, and pay special attention to it during the cold months (empty every 2 weeks minimum). Manufacturers just find it easier (and safer, as far as protecting the users...
  17. UPR Oil Separator list for everyone interested.

Quick question - has this been tested in winter / cold conditions? I'm probably not concerned about it when the car is in operation and the heat from the engine warms things up. It's only when you start the car from cold (after it has been sitting out in the parking lot for 8 hours) - is there...
  18. Anyone transport wheels / tires in their car?

When you were looking at the interior space, did you ever think that you could fit two in the back seat folded down, two in the trunk (one in the spare wheel well)?
  19. Anyone transport wheels / tires in their car?

Give it a shot and see how it goes. I'm interested to see how you'll be able to fit all 4 in the car, as that's one thing I'd have to do at least twice a year.
  20. Anyone transport wheels / tires in their car?

Couldn't you remove the spare tire / tire patch kit + styrofoam and fit another wheel in the trunk?
