  1. Ford got me twice , never again ..

This isn't a Ford issue, this is a DEALER issue. I had an Audi dealer do the same, changed dealers. I had a new Audi S4, the 2nd gear sincro went on me under normal driving. Can you imagine how much a dealer wants to fork out 5k for a new tranny? The dealer I bought my car refused and blamed...
  2. X-Plan on New Mustang

I have a question. At the beginning of this thread it mentions that X-Plan is actually 0.4% under invoice? Is this dealer invoice? So am I correct? That X-Plan is under invoice pricing?
  3. Horrible luck (hail)

There is no way PDR will be able to fix it perfect. Even the best PDR I Have still been able to see ever so slight deviations in the sheet metal. IMO I would have started this with replace the entire panels... I am way to anal to have slight variations throughout the car when looked at via...
  4. DYNO numbers

Agreed, Just so original poster knows... - Altitude - Ambient temp - Humidity - Octane - Dyno Fans - Dyno configuration/calibration And probably a lot more can factor into your dyno number. You can't say your car is low dyno compared to others, unless you take 2 cars that are the same...
  5. Line Lock for GT Automatic??

Over on the Challenger forums the ZF8 is also far from reliable, there are downshift issues, issues with it being in the wrong gear and shifting at the wrong time. Was really hoping it was bullet proof.
  6. Hail...PDR or wait for a nice custom hood

PDR can start at $150-180, and go up to $350.00 + for something like that.
  7. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

You have some redundant stuff on there, 900 for wheels and 6k for wheels. I bet you cant even get a Camaro with all the stuff you threw on it. You can get a ZL1 for $50k with all those options standard.
  8. 2017 Ford Mustang will outperform Chevy Camaro in every way

Confirmed 1) Active-Exhaust 2) Magnaride option 3) LT1 Looking pretty good! Definitely interested in pricing.
  9. Second thoughts on GT PP

Literally zero aftermarket for the 6.4L, I couldn't even find a nice supercharger kit. You have to upgrade rods and bottom end in the Dodge. What keeps me out of a dodge is the issues they have, so many I could not count. Just head on over to the forums and browse the issues threads. All the...
  10. MFT screen wallpaper sharing thread

Looks like Sync 3 will be the death of wallpapers :(
  11. GT PP 0-60 times.

4.10 gears should pull even harder up top, you just lose MPH, but you get there faster.
  12. 3.31 vs 3.55 rear axle:Would I really miss out?

All of you are correct, when I contacted my salesman to double check he confirmed that it can't be done via factory. Still getting PP... :)
  13. 3.31 vs 3.55 rear axle:Would I really miss out?

My dealer was letting me choose the 3.55 gearing option with the PP, basically it's a PP with 3.55 option. Seemed legit to me. Holding out for a 2016 Mustang instead of 2015 now though.
  14. GT PP 0-60 times.

IMO you buy the PP for the 4k Brakes, and better cooling, etc. But yes 3.15 Auto stock can do 12.5x @ 112mph.
  15. GT PP 0-60 times.

The automatic doesn't have launch control? How does the Auto launch?
  16. GT PP 0-60 times.

With this information, I agree. 3.55 overall is probably the best gearing, especially for the 1/4 since 3.73 run out of gear around 112MPH. I recommend PP with 3.55 option. With that said, 3.73 should have the fastest 0-60 on a 2 shift.
  17. GT PP 0-60 times.

Shifting reduces time considerably. Measured on my VBOX I am usually in the .5-7tenths range. Especially when you consider the amount of time it takes to achieve full velocity and recover from the load change. If you achieve a 5.2 by shifting into 3 gears, subtract the shift time from the 3rd...
  18. pulling timing

High IAT (Intake Air Temps) will lower octane, which increases knock, which then causes the ECU to pull timing. Or any combination of the above. Supercharges with superior cooling and recovery will be more consistent pull to pull. Consider running higher octane fuel in heat or running meth...
  19. DYNO numbers

If it really bothers you find a happyjet, I mean a Dynojet and you will be fine, since it will probably read over 400whp. Mustang dyno can be 11-15% different then a DynoJet, in some cases 40-50WHP difference.
  20. 2015 Owners-Biggest Surprises/Disappointments so far

You get a spare if you don't go with Performance Package, maybe they think you want a lighter car or because you have 19" wheels and would need a 19" spare. Either way, people who run custom wheel dimensions usually have AAA and don't use spare.
