  1. Sebring Chilly Track Day with Mach 1

This is a video from my first track day with it. It was only about 33 days old at this point. :) It's just more a "point and shoot" line than a "momentum" line. And I apologize in advance for the sound. You'll have to mute it instead of listening to the great exhaust sound.
  2. Sebring Chilly Track Day with Mach 1

I was there! It was definitely cold on both days. It's interesting to compare the different driving lines and sounds from the automatic. You turn in quite a bit earlier than I do in my GT350 and listening to the auto shift in the middle of the corners is just so strange. You have super...
  3. Racing harnesses

I highly suggest the Schroth Quick Fit Pro. It does not require a harness bar and is compatible with the factory 3-pt seat belt for everyday use. https://www.hmsmotorsport.com/products/quickfit-pro
  4. Color Hex code - Blue Stripe

Does anyone have the name or hex code for the blue stripe on a 2016 GT350?
  5. High RPM clutch sticking

Has anyone else experienced the clutch pedal staying on the floor after a high RPM (8000 or so) shift? Both my wife and I have experienced this on the track and it's extremely annoying. The clutch pedal stays on the floor until the RPM drops and then it finally releases. I don't exactly...
  6. Has anyone raced their base level car on different tires yet?

I've got 305/30 RE-11s on 19x11 Forgestars on it now, but haven't had a track day yet. Haven't noticed much of a difference on the street yet except for the noise, the RE-11s are significantly louder. The Supersports exceeded my expectations on the track though. I was very impressed with...
  7. Recommendations on aftermarket wheels?

  8. Recommendations on aftermarket wheels?

It's surprisingly difficult to get a decent picture of black wheels on a white car. At least with my phone anyways.
  9. Recommendations on aftermarket wheels?

Nope. They're the track wheels and it's only off by 3mph at 65. The spacer is only required if you want to rotate tires. You have to run the larger rear offset (+56) and make up the difference to the fronts (+27) with a spacer. As long as it's high-quality, hub-centric, then the loads...
  10. Recommendations on aftermarket wheels?

They are M14 x 1.5mm studs. I don't know if the lengths are different.
  11. Recommendations on aftermarket wheels?

That's the approximate difference between the wheel offset on the front and rear. I wanted to be able to rotate tires for use on the track and that was the only way to do it. They are hub-centric Eibach spacers and as a mechanical engineer, there is no additional load to the wheel or to the hub.
  12. Recommendations on aftermarket wheels?

I'm running a non-staggered Forgestar CF10, 19x11, ET 56 with a 30mm spacer in the front and 305/30/19 Potenza RE-11s on all 4. I just got them mounted last weekend and have not had them to the track yet. They look a whole lot like the stock wheels.
  13. Wheel fitment

That sucks. The inner barrel on the F14s is not large enough to clear the brake calipers.
  14. Wheel fitment

The CF5s and CF10s will fit. The F14s definitely do not fit. Not sure about the 5Vs. All depending on offsets too, of course.
  15. TPMS Questions ??

Don't forget that the GT350 comes with metal valve stems, not rubber. Metal stems are highly recommended for track duty and speeds over 130mph. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=208 I have yet to find the Ford part number for TPMS sensors with metal valve stems.
  16. Found GT3 VS GT350 video

Yep, that's me! Haven't been to this forum in a while and was very surprised to see this thread. That video was from my second session in the car. It requires a very different driving style compared to my 03 Cobra and American Iron car. Definitely looking for some more seat time in it...
  17. Front End Clearance for Trailering

Yes, the fenders are removable though. I think the measured clearance to the door is 7.5 inches. My trailer fenders were 9 inches tall.
  18. Front End Clearance for Trailering

The car is 15.6' long and the wheelbase is 8.9'. You can fit it on a 16' though it would be tight. I think an 18' is ideal if you're not carrying anything else. Here's a picture of my 20' trailer. I needed space for tires, toolbox and fuel jugs.
  19. Front End Clearance for Trailering

Oh man! I thought I was going to be first to Sebring! I won't be there until next weekend though. Good luck! And definitely give us a report.
  20. Front End Clearance for Trailering

Yep, it's definitely low. Ford recommends a maximum ramp angle of 7.7 degrees. I was able to load it with about 9.5 degrees, but it's tight. You can see the ramp extensions I had to make. My trailer height at the bottom of the dovetail is about 13". I had to extend my 5' ramps to about...
