Thank, I saw that but I'm not looking for lineout for all of the speakers. I am still using the factory amp for the speakers in the cabin. Just tapped the fronts for the sub. I just want to kill what I assume is the EQ that kicks in when the top gets dropped.

I bought a GT Vert without the Shaker Pro so I added a JL Microsub and tapped the front speakers. After I was really disappointed. I usually only drive with the top down but this week noticed that when I would unlatch the top the audio cuts out for a second and then the bass drops off...

Did you ever get the full string for this? I see 727-01-02 in the spreadsheet but can't make heads or tails out of the other values. Not sure if I should be setting an EQ value or one of the others. Is 0 off?

Realized something today, as soon as I release the latch for the top the sound cuts out and when it comes back the bass is cut in half. Latch it again, sound cuts, and bass comes back. One again it seems Ford is playing games with the sound system.

Well, I got it in and I'm underwhelmed. I think the speaker is great. With the trunk open you can feel it hitting hard, all kinds of things rattling. With the top up it is ok, not great, just ok. With the top down you really loose a lot of bass. I've tried moving it around a few times...

I stumbled onto the JL Microsub at a local stereo shop. I'm looking for something that won't eat a lot of trunk space. The dual 8 fit perfectly under the roof enclosure in the trunk. Anyone have any experience with these? I ordered one but won't get it installed for another week or so...

Not sure, just fired an email off to the guy trying to get a messurement from the box to the edge of the trunk. I don't think the sound to the passengers would be much different since both are just firing into the void of the truck. They have a ported version too.

Any idea what you are going to do for a sub? I just picked up my GT vert and I can't believe how bad the base Shaker is! I can't find a pre-fab enclosure for the convertibles. Thinking of either building one or doing a tube. Just not sure which yet. I think I'm going to do cabin speakers...
