I don't know what that manual says or the part number for the filter is. I will try and find out.

While installing the front splitter on my friends new 2017 GT350R, I noticed ford has now changed the oil filter to a canister style.

Where is Iowa did you get the GT350R? I was told that no Iowa dealers were getting R's.
