  1. 2015 Mustang Production / Ordering Schedule

Haha, that's my local dealership. Guess I won't be going to these guys for my '15 if they're already salivating over the "rarity"(markups) of these mustangs.
  2. S550 Chassis School

Don't be pedantic. This thread consolidated a lot of great info that I would otherwise have to scavenge the net for. @thePill: Thanks for making this thread. It's been a good read and confidence-inspiring that Ford is really going all in on chassis design.
  3. Aluminum? Mustangs to Phoenix today

I remember reading an old advertisement in C&D for the MKIV Supra when it first came out. It boasted that they used hollow carpet fibers to save weight! :eyebulge:
  4. What should we realistically expect to be revealed on the 17th?

Just to avoid confusion it's referring to 3 separate anniversaries here not 3 mustang anniversary models. Mustang - 50th Dodge - 100th Miata - 25th
  5. Question on track pack

You would be a prime candidate for the Ecoboost stang with the Performance Pack. Should save you some serious dough as a DD.
  6. Any Rumors On an S550 Lincoln?

Well Lincoln certainly isn't making any new cars that I'd want to drive(as a current lincoln owner), but I think they're starting to break their stride. The new hybrids and SUV they're making have been exceeding sales goals, but overall Lincoln just does not have a performance vehicle in the...
  7. How long can the Coyote last with a Wolf in the forest

Funny thing is that's what makes the toyobaru twins some much fun to drive. Whereas a GT-R is utterly boring as a daily driver due to the power and handling being so competent you never feel challenged unless youre on a track driving breakneck speeds. But like you say, different people have...
  8. What should we realistically expect to be revealed on the 17th?

    Good post. Appreciate the insight.:clap2:
  9. What should we realistically expect to be revealed on the 17th?

Keep in mind the GT350 is going to be more akin to the Boss 302 than the GT500 of the s197. Power isn't going to be near that stratospheric but there are a lot of other ways to make a car into a track monster than just adding more power. Again, think Boss 302.
  10. What should we realistically expect to be revealed on the 17th?

I'd be perfectly content with all the missing details of the regular ol' 2015 GT being fleshed out.
  11. Current Mustangs are Cheap

IMO if you're just as content with a FWD car go that route. Less moving parts, better fuel economy and the accord coupe is about as pretty of a FWD vehicle as I've seen. I personally have no love for a front-dragger even with all the fancy torque vectoring magic except for a commuter car to and...
  12. Introduce yourself!!

Hey fellas, New member here but longtime member of the Ford family. First ride was a nigh indestructible 95 LTC and I'm currently enjoying my 2nd gen Lincoln LS V8. Sad they discontinued this car as the excellent DEW98 platform almost underpinned these beautiful 'stangs. Even for a ~3700.lbs...
  13. Steeda developing parts

As someone who currently owns a Lincoln LS V8, a car which while very fun to drive has no aftermarket whatsoever, I am pumped to see such steadfast aftermarket development already underway for the s550.:clap2:
