I am in a similar situation, though I already had a local shop scheduled to do the PFF install, and the dealer doing it was not something I had considered.
I was curious what people would recommend to do on the drive back (see below).

I have special ordered vehicles before, so the waiting game itself does not bother me.
However, with the delivery date initially being 03/31, I scheduled my PPF / Ceramic coating for three weeks later (i.e., this week), thinking that would be enough time.
Oops on my part.
Mine finished production on 03/20 (blend date of 03/14) and has been in “Awaiting Shipment” ever since. Initially, it had a 03/31 arrival date, then was pushed back to 04/06.

I am going to see if my dealer will match their pricing, assuming I opt for one of the plans.
Brief backstory ... I wound up buying my Shelby out of state because it was the only option I had at the time in terms of getting exactly what I wanted at a price I was willing to pay. Knowing I was going to be trading in my truck for the car, I figured I would just pay to ship both ways (trade...
This is true.
With a couple of days of casual reading on this forum (or any other car / vehicle enthusiast forum), most people will know more than the average salesperson. We have to understand that, for many of them, selling a car is just a job. They know enough to do the job (and in some...
