I doubt either of the coolants are incorrect but rather there was a manufacturing process change during the construction of some or all of the heat exchangers. The important part is to use the same coolant that came in your vehicle and not intermix them.

My chassis number is 0240. Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolants generally have orange as one of their colors while Inorganic Additive Technology (IAT) coolants are green. I suspect there was a change in the cooling system components/construction that necessitated the change.

My car was delivered with approximately the same level (low) as you can see in this picture. It also came from the factory with Motorcraft Orange coolant. I would be interested in knowing if your owners manual differentiates this.

Interesting that this vehicle is coming off the assembly line with green coolant vs. the standard orange coolant. The green coolant uses Inorganic Additive Technology while the orange coolant uses Organic Acid Technology.
