This thread is reviving my thoughts about going with a flex/E85 tune. So just to be clear, the S550 can utilize one of these tunes without any additional modifications? I have LTH, CAI, and currently running a Lund 93 tune.
Would be nice to get a flex tune if it can run on 93 or E85 so that I...
I have the Corsa xtreme catback as well and paired mine with Texas Speed longtube headers (catted). Beware, it's very loud. Then again, that's what I wanted so I love it. I may eventually change to an H pipe to try and get the tone a bit deeper.
I can't comment on X-lume from personal experience, but do recall they have a pretty big following on the Mopar side (I came from a 392 Charger). That does seem like a long time for delivery. Your car looks great by the way!
Thanks! Car is a PP1 and only suspension component changed were the springs. Been lowered since November and ride quality is like stock - honestly couldn't tell a difference. Wheels are Ferrada FR5's 20x9/11 wrapped in 275/315 tires.
Looks great! I also lowered mine with the same springs and felt the same way... wished the rear end had dropped a bit more. The front is perfect. The look improved when I ditched the stock wheels.
Definitely my favorite option as well. I always like my cars loud, so it just made sense for early morning and late night starts. Very handy with longtubes and Corsa's
I have my eyes out for a stock intake too as I no longer have mine. Alternatively, may try a different intake and tune to see if that helps my warm start stalling issue. 🤷‍♂️
Have any videos of your setup? I have longtubes, x pipe and Corsa Xtremes. Sometimes I feel it's a bit too high pitched down low, but sounds amazing up top.
Maybe 4K on the PMAS? I have not cleaned it. Unhooked it yesterday and didn’t see any grime or junk. May try buying some MAF cleaner though.
A stock throttle body or a larger size?
I need to see what my mechanic thinks about the issue. I trust him, but have yet to have him take a look at the...
Grasping at straws here. Adjusted the position of my MAF sensor as it was pointing downwards at a 45 degree angle (now it’s level). Still experiencing the same issue with any initial warm start stalling or dipping very low in RPMs before recovering. Starting again 2 seconds later has no issues...
Thanks for the replies! Does anyone know what the "tune required" MAF sensor number should be for a GT? I should check to ensure mine is correct and will also try to level out the orientation of mine a bit as I think it dips a bit lower than your picture.
My sensor is oriented very similar to yours, maybe slightly lower? Everything looks lined up, I don't believe I could adjust it any differently. I pulled the sensor today and it seemed perfectly fine, but may try some cleaner as well. I wish I still had the stock intake as I would just go back...
