Grease is applied to the inside of the bushings prior to installation. At least that is what I have done when installing sway bars in the past. My guess would be the shop could have overlooked that part which would explain the squeak. Not sure about the rattle. It could be that the knocked out...

One of the first mods I did was add the Steeda jacking rails. Not only perfect for lifting but great with jack stands as well. You can even use them to lift from any point along the rail. As for adding weight, they are 12 pounds total.
