Just removed the P zeros from my car today and the fronts have 6.4 - 7mm tread and the rears are 6.1 - 6.6mm. All 4 were fitted this year by previous owner. All 4 are less than 12 months old from manufacturing date. £220 if any one is interested before they end up on eBay. Cant post so...

Now repaired, I refused to take the car back as they had wasted a full day when they had it and didn’t fix it. Service manager supplied the gasket FOC and the wife collected it as I was in the north east. Fitted it Friday evening and done 50 miles so far with not a hint of burning or smoke in...

I’m pissed off with them already, I told them last Friday it was the valve cover leaking. Asked them to get the gasket in. They booked it in for Wednesday. Dropped it off at 8am then got a call about 4pm to tell me yes it is leaking.

Long shot but does any one have or able to supply a valve cover gasket for a 2016 GT? Part number 525 4579 Trust ford are saying 2-4 days as none in UK in their stock.

Nar, should be fine now. Booked it in at ford for Wednesday, they are going to replace the gasket anyway and do a full check off the car.

Had smoke start to fill the car via the air vent this morning so decided to investigate. Smoke coming from the N/S manifold area. Pulled the air box out and oil was visible on the exhaust and engine mount. Found all but 2 of the cam cover bolts loose. Nipped them up and washed off the oil...
