Thank you for your insight. I used to off-road years ago but since have moved to convertible sports cars. The thought of getting a Raptor is intriguing. Wish I could own both, Raptor and Mustang GT vert. Decisions, decisions. I wonder if they would discount the Raptor?
I've always been a sports car guy but recently saw a Raptor at Ford. That is 1 sweet truck, gets like 16mpg. Anyone own a Raptor? Are they worth the $$$
I would hope so, but majority of the after market rims are cheap knock offs. Been there done that. I like the low gloss rims but they may be a bit small.
Looks like the standard GT wheels need to be upgraded. I am in between the 18" low gloss wheels for $155 or get the 20" wheels for $1295. The 20" wheels eliminates the spare tire which I prefer to get. Are the 18" low gloss black, hard to tell from the website?
I own a BMW 335i. Once a BMW is out of warranty, BMW=Break My Wallet. German cars are crazy expensive to fix. For that reason alone, I will go with the Mustang GT :-)
I had a 2005 vette. It was a great car, wish I never traded it for a bimmer. If you want mods, I see good deals on the corvette forum C6 for sale section. Vettes tend to be more of a garage queen and mustangs tend to be driven more (i.e. daily driver). My vette was a garage queen.
