Might have to take ya guys up on that. Im in Fort Mill in less than 5 minutes !
Also interested in that facebook page...although I work early tomorrow so I might not make it .
This cars clutch is ridiculously easy. I was thoroughly surprised when I first drove it.
However , the clutch is very interesting. Maybe I'm used to worn out clutches on older cars, but it is extremely grabby with a high engagement point. Very light, but you gotta put a little more effort in...

Before mine was gassed up it had 10 miles left in the car. I know Toyota puts in about 20$ for their new cars.
Its all good though , I told my salesman make sure he filled it up with 93 :headrockthingicantremember:
19 ! Either ford took it for a good long test drive and/or the techs drove it around for PDI. Oh well, the miles could have been worse !

You are right ! Invest in a foam gun, I just detailed mine the other day and the foam gun works wonders !
Its a small tank that attaches to your hose. You fill the tank with special foaming liquid and water, then spray to your hearts content !
Especially helpful for the grill and rear...
Yeah I noticed this as well. Mainly that I can hear every little piece of debris as the wheels pick it up and fling it into the wheel wells (I hope). More worried about them flying up and hitting the paint!
Getting used to it now though...
Slowly, piece by piece.
I'm like you, I sit much closer in this car then my past ones.
What I'm trying to avoid is hitting my shoes on the interior and creating marks!
So, carefully and slowly. Right leg on floor, Butt down, Left leg slowly inside...lol.
Some pics are not as good as others...But did the First Full detail today! Unfortunately it was becoming cloudy and I finished more towards the evening, so the lighting wasn't the best.
Also there was a couple short bursts of rain...right after I had finished waxing >.<
Will try to get better...
My base cloth seats are fantastic! This car has literally the best driving position I've ever experienced.
I think Ford got the perfect combination here; Especially happy about the lumbar support!
All my passengers have agreed about the seats being great as well.
I love my Base GT .
The seats are fantastic, in comfort, bolstering and feel.
The doors have part cloth/pleather (or vinyl?) type stuff. Which is nice but my hands are usually on the steering wheel/shifter ;)
All the buttons work great and feel solid. The screen is simple and easy to read...
Picked her up yesterday evening, got 150 miles on it so far.
Literally my only complaint, is the sunglasses drawer doesn't feel very sturdy/smooth.
Oh and the fact that the seat belt doesn't have that plastic arm that locks forward so you don't have to reach all the way back to grab it.
Other...
Just have everyone get in the passenger side so you never have to worry about changing your seat position !
Besides, manual is better. It's far quicker when you're trying to put a car seat in the back!
I agree, it's really not that bad.
But I can also attest to the slipperiness of the tires.
When I took delivery of my car, it had been 25-28 degrees , while it was sitting out there for 4 hours.
Couple that with high pressure dealer tires, brand new summers...Yeah, I got sideways a...
Good , time for a redesign!
I dont know what it is , but pretty much all civilian explorers that are white or black bear way too much resemblance to the police interceptors >.<
