This is very true, and that's an excellent point. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you are buying it off lease, by financing it, you're starting over (albeit in your case with a lower payment). If you have the cash to write a check, then I totally see the benefit there.

With a touchless, you are going to have to go more frequently to see the results. If you get a good prep-detail, combined with a frequent touchless wash, a lot of the dirt and all that won't stick nearly as much.

I'm not sure about the rain, but the Conti's are actually the best A/S tire for the snow, I messed that up in the original post. The pilot 3 A/S+ have been used pretty successfully on the track from what i've read too

Yes, they're top rated and better in every way. The DWS are solid choices though too, as are the BFG Comp 2 A/S.

The Michelins are better in every way in every temp, even as an A/s.

So I got it done, and despite the headache that was the install I'm thrilled with the result. It looks and feels great, and while maintaining the factory look. Unfortunately, I can't get the pictures to upload for some reason. Once I'm back from the holiday's, I'll write up a proper review!

If you have a separate wheel, I strongly suggest sending it to them to have their installer do it. $190 is a great price, I am going to pay right around $300 (simply because the company didn't want to charge me any more for a "simple" wheel cover).
