This is interesting info. I toss up whether to go the half cage and fixed back seat route. Honestly, that is a safer solution than a quick fit and no cage, but where do you stop? I don't like the thought of removing a seat that has airbags and replacing it for a piece of fiberglass, primarily...
Bumping this thread back up. I am leaning towards a quickfit pro as I have a HANS and would like to make use of it. It says on the schroth website that the harness is designed to be used in stock seats that have passed a seat back strength test..
Is anyone here using this harness with the...
My driver's seat base has developed an issue where it moves laterally during hard cornering. The movement appears to be coming from the area where the seat mounts to the rails, as opposed to the mounts on the floor pan. If I grab the seat base and wiggle it side to side there is a considerable...
You could also say that if you can afford a big ADM, then money isn't as of much concern to you? I never really understood the concept of paying overs for a car, and then wrapping it in cotton wool to protect your "investment". Money is always made on the purchase, not on the sale, when talking...
I see no issue with the howler badge personally. Putting an Si badge on a base civic would be the equivalent of putting the cobra badge on a GT. Spare a thought for us unlucky peeps in Aus who can't buy a GT350!
Wow 1K for a glorified piece of plastic. Those Shelby letters must cost a bit .
Is there any difference in the magnaride valving with the R to account for the heavier front springs?
Fascinating topic. Surely there are guys out there rocking replica R aero on their vanilla 350s? What does an OEM R splitter cost? I know the wing is stupid money.
I've always been funny about dressing a car up to be something that it's not, but adding factory aero bits for a performance...
I ended up buying four new OEM sensors from my local dealer at a cost of $220. The Apex wheels are compatible with the OEM sensors so I assume they will work.
Malibu1 what was the issue with the sensors the dealer supplied you? Were they aftermarket or OEM? They're not essential on the track...
They do look a little bit "Tron" up against the angular looks of the S550 but I have the black 5.0 badges to swap on still so I'm going to live with them for a bit to see how I like it.
I spent some time washing and waxing my car today so figured it would be a good time to apply these
I'm not big on decals of any kind but I had these on my GT3 and loved the look. Turns out Ford actually teamed up with Tag on a rather ugly watch in the 1970's, so at least it's applicable!
I checked my Oil Life today and the indicator said 64%...after 2,000 kms. I am doing an oil change next week anyway, but this seems like one of those annoying features that's best to just ignore.
