The sound tube is connected to the intake, it shouldn't be effected by exhaust changes.

Buy a universal x pipe and have any exhaust shop weld it in for under $100. The sound will be deeper and louder.

I was being cheap and went with 87 @ $1.65. On the way to work I got 25 mpg doing speed limit. That will probably come down to 22 mpg going home.

Its going to be hard to tell on fuel right now. (winter blend) Try Chevon, I believe Kroger is Shell not bad fuel, Exxon is okay but not the best mileage.
