I like the sound, no drone and not crazy loud, that will change once the resonator is removed. I have no plans on removing the resonator with out running a mid pipe exhaust. I have got multiple compliments the last few days.
Loving all the discussions. Good news I hit a 6.1 after a few launches on 91 octane. Still trying to figure out the best launch technique. The 6.1 was with a decent amount of tire spin, I thought for sure it would have been 6.5-6.7, I think I launched at 2300 rpms. I think my issue is going into...
I think the stock mufflers are the most restrictive part of the exhaust, a side from the resontator. looking at pics of the stock mufflers cut open for our viewing pleasure. Why are you wanting to keep the stock mufflers? I would remove the stock exhaust and place a borla muffler in place of the...
Thanks guys, I was a little nervous at first but I figured for under 200 dollars it's worth a try. Overall I am pleased with the sound. I got a couple people asking which exhaust I put on it from the dealer.
Stock downpipe with the resontator in place. They removed just the mufflers. I'll post a pick of the exhuast tonight.

The videos I posted are of the mufflers deleted not the resonator, that was left stock. Only performance mod I have is a MMR Intake and DV venting to the atmosphere.
Yeah, I have not wanted to pull the trigger on a full exhaust setup as I have not heard one I am in love and didn't want to waste over a grand. I am going to order the res delete pipe soon. I will post a few more videos once my wife gets home.
On a side note, the guy who installed my tips told...
If you talking about the blow off sound, then yes, as that side of the tubing is stock, and the fitting should fit the stock air box too, if not you can get a smaller plug, I think it was 7/8-1".
As promised, I have one video right now of what the ecoboost mustang sounds like with the mufflers removed. I had 4" inch SS turbo Stainless Steel Tips weld on to 16 inches of 2.5 inch pipe, and a two hangers installed, it cost me $110.00 for the shop to weld everything and I spent 50.00 on the...
Actually, having my friend drive the car is not a bad idea, I have driven his STI and my 0 to 60 times are right around 5.0 seconds before his tune and DP. And his are right around 4.7, but he drive his car everyday.
I removed the rubber hose all together. I took another pic so you can see what it looks like with the hose removed.

Funny, I wasn't complaining, I was stating facts and simply asking what others have experienced. I did not blame the car nor did I ever say it was not the drive. I just got the car a few weeks ago, so I am sure it is the driver at this point. I was hoping people would give feedback on what they...
Hello,
I have the ecoboost with performance pack and mmr intake, I cannot for the life of me get my car 0 to 60 faster then 6.4 seconds. I have tried launching anywhere from 2200 to 3000 rmps and short shifting from redline all the way down to 5300 rpms. I live in arizona so 93 octane is not...
I purchased a MMR intake and love it. Unlike some of the other intakes it does not come with a block off for the diverter valve recirculation port. Some people have used rubber stool caps, I found a perfect way to block off the port and have the air vent to the atmosphere. Go to any auto parts...
