I've hit 2 over the years with our '88 Trooper. 1st time I had just cleared RR tracks after stopping and a herd jumped up from the ditch/wooded area right after I cleared tracks. I was maybe moving 10-15 mph. Broke the grille, headlight and turn signal. No sheet metal damage, I was able to...
The more I drive mine in Sport mode("S" on the shifter, not the "S+" from the mode toggle), it seems to have more decent 4-5 shifts. One thing I learned from my 5.0 F150(also a 3rd gen Coyote) is the engine needs to be running just right in order for the transmission to do its adaptive learning...
I thought that was an engineering number you gave in the first post. I'm learning too, haha, and I've been driving Fords and wrenching on them over 15 years.
Following this thread, I've got a '21 premium GT, A10, 20" wheels, non PP, no Magneride. My seat doesn't seem to have much padding in the bottom but its OK for me so far. The trans shifts fine in Normal mode but will lug the engine sometimes driving around the county. I'm at about 1400 mi now so...
Just checked gasbuddy and right now here in west GA the spread between 87 and 93 at the COSTCO where I fill up is 30 cents. I guess we're lucky it isn't more. i will continue using 93 in my 5.0's.
Saw this one when I came out of the restaurant this AM. My '21 Antimatter on the left.
Is the one on the right Mischievous Purple? Can anyone tell from this foto? It definitely had purple in it looking close up?
Right! Things might be(probably would be) different if the difference was greater! Other stations in my area have a greater difference between 87 and 93 but as it is, with COSTCO, I typically get 93 for much less than the corner convenience store TEXACO charges for 87. I'm not professionally...
Lessee, say 4000 mi per yr/18 mpg=222 gallons x .27 cents diff between 87 and 93 = $60.
I'll stick with 93 thank you! I personally did the fill up on the dealer's dime when I picked up my GT in JAN and it got 93 QuickTrip, been running COSTCO 93 since(advertised as 6x the cleaner required to be...
I'm in the MaxSpider 3D camp also. Have had them in my F150 for 4 yrs, they still look good, got a set(front only) for the Mustang when I got it a couple months ago, look nice. They use the 2 attachment posts on driver's side. One member on another thread said they did not like the fact they...
I started running 93 octane COSTCO gas in my 2018 5.0 F150 about a year into ownership(when they built the COSTCO, was 93 QT before that), and the engine runs much better on it IMHO.
So, the GT I just got a month ago? 93 COSTCO for the win!
In my area, west GA, the 93 is about 14 cents higher...
With the current chip shortage, will Ford be decontenting the new models compared to the 2021's?
Any changes in features? I just got a 2021 Premium GT coupe with the 401A and was wondering how the 22's will differ?
