I read thru EVERY post in this thread today, getting more and more angry along the way.
I thought I was imagining this problem last week and my wife mentioned something about it this week. It's definitely a problem.
I cannot believe the level of engineering that's taken place by folks on this...
eh...I agree with you for the most part. It's not an American thing. It's a 90% of all business thing. The other thing is it's not just the auto industry. I have seen similar things in other industries where sales is there to just sell and then hope for the best when a problem happens...
I had a GTS bug shield for my fox body, way back when, and it was contoured to the hood but had a little but of a lip on it on it's edge. It did a good job deflecting debris AND you could still get soap and water under it. Agree though, it *looks* like it's just sticks to that nose like a trim...
Only thing I have heard alot about on here are the misaligned panels and loose leather.
Not to THAT extent though. I am betting Ford doesn't ack any of it.
Interestingly enough it looks good.
Concerns:
1) how it's attached and can you clean under it?
2) does it actually deflect bugs off the hood and windshield like a truck bug deflector OR is it just for looks and keeping rock chips off that nose?

The leather/belt problems kills me because it's just a poor design. I can't be the only one hitting this. When I described it to the service advisor over the phone he says they'd need the car for the day as they'd have to go back and forth with engineering and digital imagery. So right off...
Forgot to add the rear view mirror vibrates and causes objects in mirror to be blurred.
I know this shouldn't bother me but it does and I'd like to be able to distinguish when there's a cop behind me!
Don't know how much of this is me nitpicking, but this is what I have seen with just about 5500 on our EB Premium:
1) Some body alignment issues.
Front bumper
Driver's side fender, right in front of the door seems bulging out.
Cloth/rubber mating on the driver's side A pillar. Seems you...
I can't say that I have the clanking sound on my EB premium. BUT I have a distinct hesitation when you're going between gears (R>D) or (D>R) before you can get on the throttle. I believe that's common as well. Dont' know if it's associated.
Interesting. I thought I was imagining things with wind noise on the driver side. The passenger side leather is definitely wrinkled on mine too. Curious, have you approached the dealer with any of this as they are on my list when I take it in.
Oh, I'd love to do this one myself, but not at $1100. I had paid $1200 for my jet hot coated KOOKS setup on my 07 GT and that included full length headers.
I love the magnaflow setup up on my F150!
I was at Mustang Week this past weekend and was talking to the Magnaflow rep about their cat back and about the pricing. Just can't see laying out $1100 for sound. He agreed the system is nice but there's nothing stopping the use of universal mufflers to get the same effect. Makes sense to...
Ahh, I missed the link initially. Good deal. Appreciate that!
Thinking of going that route and skipping the downpipe. Just want a little different sound.
Hey all,
Anyone know of anyone or have you seen a setup to delete the stock resonator and mufflers and put a single muffler in the stock resonator location?
Basically, a muffler with a 3" inlet and twin 2.25" outlets. Then you can run the tailpipes all the way out the back as normal...
