  1. Does the Bullitt Have It’s Own Hood Insulator?

My underhood insulator got a rip in it. So I approached my local dealer to get a replacement. He found two different part numbers, a cheaper one for less then $200 Canadian, and one that matched my VIN number that was almost $700 Canadian. The basic one seems to have the following part number...
  2. Has anyone considered changing the color of their Wheels?

I asked a rhetorical question, that you responded to with the wrong information. Grey and black are not the same thing. FYI, the following two cars are not the same Color. I
  3. Has anyone considered changing the color of their Wheels?

Except that grey isn’t black. You were the one who felt you needed to correct me, with wrong information. To clarify, they are grey, not black.
  4. Has anyone considered changing the color of their Wheels?

Actually, they aren’t Black. The original magnesium Torq Thrusts were a very dark charcoal grey, that could look black on the screen.
  5. Has anyone considered changing the color of their Wheels?

That looks really great. Never understood why they went black on the Bullitt wheels. Just a fashion thing I guess.
  6. Cleaning the BACK of the Lens Over the Gages

Argh. I was afraid of that. I’ll have to have a look. I love my Mustang, but there are places I wish Ford would have spent a few more pennies on. This being one of them. If nothing else, some sort of gasket type thing to seal it will keep dust from getting in there too.
  7. Cleaning the BACK of the Lens Over the Gages

So, it turns out, at least on my 2019, that if you spray window cleaner (Stoner Invisible Glass in this case), onto the lens in front of the gages, it’s open up top, and some leaks through to the back side of the lens. Not onto the tft display itself, just onto the backside of the lens covering...
  8. Voo Doo’s 2019 DHG BULLITT .....um..Changes!!

Sooo, how does it look now?
  9. Why DIDN'T you get a camaro?

The Camaro was just so much less practical and usable. I'm a tall guy (6'4) and it was just too hard to even see out of it. Shame, cause the suspension in the Camaro is sensational. Didn't help that the 2019 Camaro got the new and "improved" front end....
  10. Post Your Mach 1 Pictures

    Man, that's gorgeous!
  11. Post Your Mach 1 Pictures

Sooooo nice to see one in colour.
  12. Jason Camisa Know it All: Manuals are geared to lose

I have two cars geared like that. Thanks EPA. My 1990 ZR-1 gets driven in 3rd and sometimes 4th, I don't remember the last time it hit 6th gear. 5th is .75 and 6th is .50! Stupid. The Mustang surprised me because it seems to have a short rear end, at 3.73, but driving it, it felt like granny...
  13. 2016 Mustang Ecoboost--Just passed 200,000 miles and still going strong

Congrats. I would likely have been challenging in The miles per month category with my Bullitt, but Covid.... Nice to see someone actually using and enjoying their Mustang. No reason that you couldn't double the mileage with regular maintenance, the way modern cars are built.
  14. Best All Season Tires for Bullitt

I drive my Bullitt a lot. 3000 miles a month easily. Often more. I burned through the original Michelin's quickly. And am now hunting for a long lasting, good wet performance all season tire. I'm ok with losing a few tenths off the skidpad. Wouldn't mind if it didnt tramline as much either. Nice...
  15. BULLITT Resale Value

The Bullitt is a brilliant GT and highway cruiser. I put over 30,000 miles on mine in 9 months. Fantastic car. What does that mean in terms of resale value? Not a lot. Would I have bought a Mach 1 instead? I doubt it. I'd love the Tremec, but I wouldn't want the PP2 aggressiveness on long...
  16. 19" Torq Thrust'y Wheel?

Sadly, no. Wasn't even alive when it flew.
  17. 19" Torq Thrust'y Wheel?

Thanks very much. I sent them an email with my questions. I'll let you know what I hear.
  18. Moving the Bullitt west

Totally understandable. I had the great privilege of being able to use my Bullitt frequently, before Covid, on the best way possible - on long highway drives! People don't really get what this car is best at. That is, being a truly great, high speed, luxury GT. I had planned to run mine from...
  19. How many Bullitt owners wished they had Grey or any other color Calipers?

Love the red. Nice pop of colour on a dark car. Especially in the boringly grey automotive world we live in currently.
