I appreciate the thought. I figure if the dealer didn't suggest fixing it and was willing to fight for a new order I'd take it. I never thought it would come in so fast anyway. plus I still need to expand my garage to make space for it :-)

I'm not sure how they would handle this at the factory, but since the dealer is willing to get me a new one I'm going that route. If it was just the trunk lid or the replaceable part wouldn't be so bad, but the quarter panel would have to be filled or cut out and most of the car re-sprayed.
