Interesting. I have the s-type with the x-pipe the system came with and I have no drone and no rasp. In fact wherever I go I get comments on how awesome my car sounds: dealership, tire shop, car shows they all love it. It is the 2.5 inch convertible set up not the 3 inch maybe that makes a...
2019 bought used with 36,000 miles now has 50,000. It’s a fair weather cruiser for us, so about 8 months a year. Borla s type cat back, passenger side can,
Ford hood struts and K&N drop in is all I’ve done. Runs great, sounds awesome and as others have already said, nothing but smiles while...
I have thought about stripes a dozen times, but have not pulled the trigger. I figured black was the only way to go, but I saw an orange fury Mustang with Kona blue stripes. It was pretty interesting. Let us know what you decide To do.
61 and climbing. I had a fox body in the 80’s and once we got the kids out of college and the house I wanted one again. Some ask me if it’s a mid life crisis,
I say no, is delayed gratification. Love the car, makes me smile every time I step hard on the gas.
I have the Borla S-type cat back system. Pretty tame when cruising and thunderous when you punch it. Absolutely no drone. The system comes with an X-pipe.
I did what you want to do. I capped it there as in your photo and at the air intake tube. Works fine, less hassle. I used rubber cane/crutch tips. Saved the removed section to replace if I sell the car.
Hello, I bought some 2024 take offs for my 2019 and had to swap out the sensors. $100 by certified check and I’ll ship. Shelby American says less than 100 miles on them. Thanks
I’m buying the same summer P Zeros Take offs. I don’t want to drive them in sub 40 temps, I just want to park the car in my attached non-heated garage for the winter. In another thread some say I’ll be fine others say I’m being reckless to even store them at VT winter temperatures. What say you...
I am considering buying a set of 2024 take-offs for my mustang. The tires are the summer only Pirelli P Zeros. I store my car in an attached but unheated garage from roughly November-April, depending on the year. The manufacturer says these tires can’t even be stored in sub 40F temperatures...
For protecting the undercarriage I highly recommend Fluid Film. It’s made of lanolin and beeswax and has protected my equipment from VT winters for years. It does need to be reapplied every fall. You can buy a sprayer but for one vehicle 3 or 4 rattle cans should do it at $10 a piece...
I did a Borla SType cat back system and it comes with an X Pipe. Great sound, tame while cruising and loud when you punch it. ABSOLUTELY no drone. Love it.
