Honestly I cannot remember what I paid they were new on their website when I got them. Still running strong to this day over a year later. Love the no oil or water lines. Eeeaazzyy cheesy install. It is not that much more expensive than the precisions I took off.
Sounds like you need to go over your setup. Check all mechanical. If still has hiccups put heat on your tuner. Comment in bold is a red flag. Probably mechanical. I cannot see a tuner being that dysfunctional to where tune wants to shift at 3500 rpm.
I would go through the actual builder rather than Sai Li. Lets just say timeframe and communication are not the best. Not with an engine but with previous orders.
Its a turbo with a belt. I don't like belts. But I like this blower setup. Had it been available when I bought my vortech I would of bought this bad boy. The biggest problem which I had with my vortech was the air to air IC it blocked cool air to the engine. This kit gets the IC out of the way...
Exactly. They all say OMG my car is so fast look at my time slip. And that is true.
What they don't tell you is the drivability issues. There is give n take with these cars. You want a fast track car? You want a fast street car that runs without glitches? Very hard to have both. Bigger...
Most of these big name tuners cater more to the track guys with $$$. Why? Because they will get time slips that helps to sell their services.
Guys with street cars? Get behind the guys that go to the track as they get the most attention. With Wengerd Performance it is different. So happy this...
Get the controller. The controller is way more efficient than just running springs by themselves. Plus a push of a button will put them belt cars in your rear view mirror.
Put the Steeda K member on as well. Car so much easier to work on.
And yes the belt driven cars do get the hit if I am not brake boosting. With brake boosting it pretty much nullifies the advantage. Turbos for the win!!
Like I said ditch the belt. You act like you are scared of turbos. The fastest 1/4 mile cars are turbo cars. Why ask your 5.0 to push an extra 40-70 HP just so you can wear a belt. :giggle: With that said many affordable turbo setups for someone that wants less power.
All cars are streetable. Boost controllers give you more if want it. And we all want it. LOL. Plumbing does not rob HP belts do. Again a proper turbo setup is a much more efficient car. 55mm turbos are perfect for a street car. I am running 62s and love them. And air cooled turbos from COMP take...
Might want to spend some time reading. There is no way everybody is gonna tell you all this. But yes get oil pump gears as well a timing chain gear. And BTW go twin turbos.
Very reliable. Superchargers need maintenance just like turbos. If you are going to Force Induction turbos are the way to go. NEVER again will I super charge. :like:
