I would suggest BND Automotive's ACEs IV - it does not contain MMT and has proven to work in my R and many other friends performance cars. The butt dyno is awesome and a couple race buddies feel it helps keep cylinder head temp under control in forced induction cars.
I feel your pain. My R wheels - and the red brembo for that matter - are getting nicks all over them. I don’t know if there’s much to do to prevent that. Unless you don’t drive the car :(
Mine popped our from the start yet after about 2500 miles I've either learned to jam it more effectively in 1st or the transmission has broken in the point where it doesn't happen much any more. Either way the occurrences have significantly diminished. It's probably a combination of both.
I haven't seen any mention of Magnaflow besides what Lethal and some resellers have posted. It uses 3" tubing and true crossover (unlike Borla) I also suspect that Magnaflow might even supply Ford with the stock crossover as they look identical. At one point I was considering using Borla but...
My red R calipers are accumulating chips and I'd sure like to try touching them up. Boy the paint is thick! Can't seem to find exact Brembo red - plus to be effective it would have to withstand the heat.
Has anybody tried the Speed Tactics BEHIND the passenger seat? There's definitely room and when strapped down tight in the driver's seat would be far easier to reach.
Interestingly enough when my R was delivered the dealer would not install the FRPP passenger side catch can I brought them. Refused to do it. So I took the 3 1/2 minutes when I got home but jeez!
Would love to do headers but here in Kali even if it's just as clean coming out the exhaust it would fail the visual. After putting up with all the on again / off again of parts for smog checks and or the shady stations over 14 years on my 03 Cobra just not willing to deal with that hassle again.
Yeah can't imagine Ford left much if any horsepower on the table with their specifically designed for the GT350 exhaust. They even seemed to choose what has to be a more expensive cast x pipe cross over than the bent tube x pipes the aftermarket is doing. That couldn't have been a random...
That's pretty much what I thought as well but thought I'd check just in case somebody had different results. About $400 per horsepower doesn't seem like a good investment :)
