Yeah by time I started adding the required features the price of the "base GT" started going up. pretty quickly.. I wanted Sync3, handling package, PP1.. apples to apples I was fine with the EB (and not trying to explain extra $$ to my wife).

Its the base ecoboost with the High Performance Package, Handling Package and Safe and Smart package (and orange color charge). And its odd that the price sometimes shows up at 38.8 and other times 38.2..

So I have only driven it a limited amount so far, mostly interstate. Coming from the 16, which had no exhaust sound, the sound is much more noticeable (not bad, just radically different). When I ordered this car I even sat in a 19' and just played with the active exhaust because I didn't...

The MSRP was 38.8 and I got them down to 35.2, I dont remember the OTD off the top of my head because I traded in an old beater. I am sure I could have done better if I waited till they are on the lots, but I wanted the Twister Orange so here we are.

I made an exception since she was so heart broken when I turned in the '16 mustang and was so excited to see the new orange mustang show up outside the dealership window. Gotta burn through the tank they sent me off in.. I think they put low test in to make sure you break it in....

Yeah the waiting was the worst... And then I had to wait till 7pm before they could make delivery. Loooongest day ever!

Taking Delivery

I cant wait to get it home to play with it. I was worried that the orange was not going to be orange coming from Competition Orange, it its really a great color.

Of course I went down and stalked the dealership until I could find it on the lot and take pictures while I wait for the paperwork to catch up.

Woke up this morning to find that my car was delivered (to dealership) yesterday (a week earlier than tracking). :rockon::party:

How many times a day do you check the status for a new date? My date is now 10/14 and I have been good and only checked 4 or 5 times today :angel:

All my tracking information comes directly from my dealer. I have looked and have not found anything that gives anything more than date shipped and date est to arrive. However, that does not stop me from looking every morning to see if anything has changed. EDIT: UGH.. it just went up to 10/15...

Does anybody know if there is a Twister Orange Mustang Registry with stickers similar to the COMR (Competition Orange)? It was the only decal I would put on my 2016 mustang.

Congrats! I just found out my 2020 Twister Orange EB is finished and sitting in Ohio waiting on a train.
