Just curious I have the same rear shocks that bolt directly to the chassis (only way they mount I think) what do you mean when you mentioned the shocks being loud or noisy? I’m trying to see if it’s the noise I’m hearing on my build. I cannot find anything loose at all.
For my 2019 Mustang GT with:
BMR SP086R drag springs
Viking Crusader adjustable rear shocks
17Ă—10 wheels
Currently on 305/45r17 with about a quarter inch gap at highest point. I want to move to 315 and keep a non running tight stance. 900rhp
1/4 or 3/8 spring spacer? Below is my buddy on...
What did you use for the extra baffle layers? Thinking about buying the stage 4 for my 2019 gen6 Whipple. Worried about plumbing it into the MAF tube might go inside the closed air
Box instead
Looking at Circle D 258mm Pro Series vs the more expensive XLP proloc SunCoast 240mm.
Already know the suncoast is better for digs, changeable stater and can be unbolted vs circle D you gotta ship back. Just looking for input and person experience. Gonna run a 3600-3800 stall.
Rll didn’t last 6 months before they were screaming replace me. No burnouts just breaking traction at 90 WOT if I stabbed it to the floor. I’m blaming the whipple! Moving to S/S for a comparison. 305/454r17 also just did 6500$ worth of suspension so maybe that will help.
Anyone here have past experience with Midnight Performance? I’m about to pull the trigger on a built transmission and I’m leaning toward them over RSA since they’re right down the street. If so which converter did you go with or kept it using a new OEM? Trans cooler? Etc
So update moved over to a fore innovations 1400HP+ triple pump and switched to rob shoemaker tuning, the car is running totally fine 10/10. Made 800+ on a 3.7 pulley and 730 on 93. Now time to build a trans for handle some real power. Camber arms and suspension this week!
Enjoy the wine!! this is what I came up with so far since I’m in a budget. Damn triple pump install/tune hit hard.
Viking Crusader rear shocks (pair)
BMR SP086R drag springs
BMR cradle lockout
Fellow gearheads,
I’m planning my next suspension upgrades and could use some advice. I’m really thinking about getting the Steeda Stop-the-Hop intermediate kit. The purpose of the build is 40/60 roll racing, and the kit I’m looking at includes:
555-5754 - Steeda IRS Subframe Support Braces...
ok
Will look into it and tell the tuner. Been waiting weeks to get into his shop. I did redo everything but the phasers when we did the oil pump gears and sprocket.
I’m having the same issue with the gen6 whipple at low RPm with the Lund tune they keep telling me it’s not the tune. Going to new tuner to fix the issue will
Keep you posted.
Good to know in the process now of having it tuned again and the guy is gonna check the cam phasers while in there. I might sell it and go ESS in the future or TT.
I found a really good tuner that will actually work with me in a week or so dropping car off to move to a wengerd tune, 3.7 pulley and dyno. Thinking it’s the DW400 pump or check valve. Still no data log yet been working 72 hours straight. Ill
Keep y'all In the loop and appreciate the time and...
