I have some nice nice nice pics of my LB R coming. Please stay tuned. Hopefully post em later tonight.
Went out for my last drive before storage yesterday. So sad, but the pics are pretty nice. I have a lot ...I don't know how many I should post up...haha
They all looks good to me...
Congrats man. All your patience throughout this only to have your car pooped on, stripes scraped and the interior smelling like ass, this is when I'd lose my shit.
I've been telling you the whole time to be cool, but now is when they should fix all the shit they did and they should fix it...
Btw, I went with 3M Pro Series film. Mind blown how clear and smooth it is. None of that orange peel effect we saw years ago (why I haven't got it in the past). I didn't see it compared to xpel, but I tell ya, the 3M looks awesome. Also got CQuartz Finest on the entire car (over the film)...
Haha, funny. I always have a bottle of SONAX window cleaner in the trunk with a nice microfibre as well. I had a 2013 BMW 135i, which I sold when I bought the R. The original washer fluid from Germany, still in the reservoir. :)
I just feel the wipers actually add fine scratches to the...
Hey man, my general theory here is this.
a) You could call and give them shit for not having your car faster, then they'll rush the job and throw it together and it looks like tangled ball of yarn
b) The tech (which is no doubt an SVT, experienced technician, in high demand at that...
Ya, Porsches and Ferraris never break down. Some cars break down, this was unfortunate (as you said). But to think if you go buy another vehicle you'll be problem free is like hoping I'll see a flock of Unicorns on the way home.
Obviously, it's nothing you did to the car, but to get...
As much as I want to drive it, at this point I'm just concerned with the salt, the weather and getting it to the facility.
But ya, I hope to get a few miles on it for sure.
It already snowed where I store it. It's still at the paint protection place. haha. I may get it tomorrow, but prolly Monday. Supposed to be warm up here next week so that's good.
I'll take some pics before I put it away...haha
Finanlly got my car last night!!! Sadly, I still haven't driven it yet. It sits at the detailer/paint protection film place for a few days.
I started it. It started. That's a good sign. Lol
It sounded oh so nice.
Ha, ya. I was a little hesitant buying the Range cause of all the horrible stories you read. But I can honestly say I haven't had an issue. Little qwips, like suspension errors (which clear as soon as the car is cycled...something wonky with the ride height sensors...easy fix for a do-it...
Exactly man, just get it back, drive it for 2-3 years. Hope it doesn't break, which hopefully it doesn't. Sell it. That way the you at least enjoyed the depreciation. Shit, they have to keep replacing the motor if it breaks again. Maybe Ford will stock up if there's more and more issues.
