I've seen clear bra before and yes, you will be able to see where the bra ends if you only do half the bonnet. But if you do full bonnet or/and full bumper, I dont think its noticeable.

After some sun, the bra is nicely in place....but.... I cant close the bloody hood! Seems that the bottom cover between the side panel and the hook is preventing the hood to close properly (see photo). Anyone had the same problem?

I think Colgen bra offers a lot more protection then the film. You still can chip the film fairly easily but you will need a rock the size of your fist to make a dent on your car.

Yeah, on Saturday, I finally bother to read the instruction, which mentioned something about that, AFTER my mate and I forcefully stretch it to get the hooks on. It's still not properly fitted yet as I still cant close the bonnet properly. Will leave the car+bar in the sun when I get the chance...

I'm having trouble getting the top bra on by myself. It's almost like its 5cm too short. Anyone has the same issue? My mate is coming over tomorrow to help me stretch it out... The lower bra is easy enough to put on. I have to say, it looks good. Pictures when the top bra is fitted....

Maybe its a QLD thing but when it rains, the thought of hails come to mind. I always check the BOM as well before I take her out for a drive.

Just an advise, before buying the boot liner, try asking your dealer to throw the factory rubber liner in for free. There is a chance that they might do that for you. Just ask nicely. I got mine for free after the car was delivered (They didnt have it in stock when I picked up my car) . :ford:

Was in Sports Mode (Auto) driving in the city speed and the car shudders, like the gear being indecisive. Is it just me or does that happens when you are driving in low speed on Sports Mode? :shrug:

I dont have any issues with mine (auto) at all. Roundabout or wet. I do take care around roundabout (having read from experiences from others) and I do select Slippery Mode when driving in the rain. But if you want it to slide, you dont even have to try hard at all...

I believe Philip (Lakin) personally went to Ford dealership to take the measurements himself. Dont quote me on this but I believe all his plates/brackets should fit into the factory holes/dimples. Mine did...

Well, I'm planning a trip to Melbourne to drive on the GOR. So that will change soon....

No change in my fuel consumption after my 6 month service (1200km). I'm averaged 13L/km (Auto). Not my daily drive but I dont go easy on the pedal whenever I get a chance to drive it.
