I went for it. I bought the metra kit from eBay for $399. I'm still deciding which head unit to get. I can't decide if I want to go the route of the Pioneer AppRadio 4, or go all out and get the top of the line AVIC-8200.

Doug, I have two questions for you. 1) Does your backup camera work since you didn't connect the parking brake sensor? 2) Does this let you use the factory microphone or did you install the one that came with your head unit?

Most of the ones I've looked at, including Pioneer, will integrate the factory backup camera.

I think we need to respect the mods that people choose. I mean, the "R" badge I put on my Lexus made it at least 1.5 seconds quicker to 60!
