I just got mine done on my 18 a few weeks ago and did the bb base turbos, the additional water lines are not the easiest as far as routing lines to make it look nice, but keeping them turbos cooler is only gonna help with longevity. I have about 200 miles on it and have not scraped anything yet...
Talked to hellion today, I’m possibly a dumb ass, put before I say why I need to explain myself, so when you order a hellion turbo kit everything is laid out in such a meticulous way and the material they give you is almost exact, giving exact measurements and how to cut everything from vacuum...
I guess, I was thinking of maybe a copper ring around the outer edge, but I wish I would have knew I was paying a extra $500 for exhaust leaks, lol. Hopefully hellion will call me back with some good tricks to try.
Just to be clear it’s not crazy loud, they just are not sealing, so if I pull up to a light or when the car is Idling I car hear a small exhaust leak sound. So if the windows are up I don’t even hear it. But at the same time I don’t want my 2018 with 6k miles on it to sound like a junk yard...
Car is up and running so i got to spend some time driving. I got the dual loud valves so at 5psi or so the actuator opens the exhaust like having dumps. Anyway id like some feedback on people who have them because im not digging these things, when idling it just sounds like a bad exhaust leak...
I replied to you pm before I seen this, my car is a 18, I may not have answered your question correctly as I’m not sure if they are setup the same or not
Turns out I’m not retarded!!! Tune was corrupt or and or did not flash correctly, erased old tune and downloaded new one and all good. Thanks all that helped
Yes, fore has some very clear illustrations which is nice, and I traced the feed and the return back to the hat, I was thinking maybe I accidentally swapped them but they are good.
So messed with it again, I found when I start the car with both fuel pumps disconnected, it runs! Wtf and as soon as I plug a pump in it kills it right away, lol check the video, sorry about the quality
So what i tried was running the trigger wire directly to pump number one and the car started almost normal like, so this is the first time it has ran longer than 10 seconds, so walked around and made sure nothing was leaking and this is the crazy part, i have a pressure gauge on the regulator...
