Well after 2 weeks, nothing has been done. I was told a manager from Ford is coming down to approve the repairs and I'm not sure why that took two weeks. On another note, there is a used GT350 I think I'm going to entertain and take a look at. Thanks for all the support.
So my car is US Spec. I purchased it through Military Auto Source here in Germany. I was told that 14 of the 30 Bullitt allocated to them are taken. If I wait for the next one, I would probably be waiting for it to be built all over again. It's a very long process.
So I think these are my options.
Wait for the fix and see how it turns out. Possible compensation for diminished value, but dealership doesn't think the repainted panels will lower the value.
Wait for next Bullitt. Who knows how long that will take?
I test drove an M2 competition today. I...
Well, I waited 5 months and it showed up damaged. Most likely by the trucking company moving it down here to Germany. Looks like someone just dropped something large and metal on it. There are multiple chips and about 10 to 12 dents. Also, a few chips on wheel. I'm pretty sure it will need...
Customs took almost 2 weeks for them to get to it. I've been waiting for about a week now post customs to get them to truck it down. Hopefully this week. Funny is the actual ocean crossing took 11 days.
Well my Bullitt is officially crossing the Atlantic for Germany. I'm guessing mine will be one of the first US Spec Bullitts in Europe. Anyone else waiting for delivery in Europe?
I hope so. My dealer is looking into it on Monday so hopefully he gets an answer. I'm really excited you got yours though and I look forward to your content. Curious to see how you like your xpel set up since I will get that installed the first day mine arrives.
So my Bullitt is still at the factory after a 21 Jun build date according to COTUS and chat. It originally had a EDD of 8 July. Is it possible it already left and their system is just not reflecting it. The car is supposed to go to Baltimore than on a boat to Germany.
