You should ask your dealer then since last Thursday. Ford Aus finally entered it into the system and sent everyone a final copy. Other members on ford aus forums got it as well.

I'm sure you can but it probably mean your order gets pushed in the back of the que or even miss out on first batch delivery.

I really hope we get the sync 3. Just makes more sense since the US My16 are getting the upgrade. Imagine the backlash if the first shipment doesn't have sync 3 then second shipment for June does. Ill be pissed since its not something you can upgrade to later.

Can someone confirm whether the mustang will be subjected to the luxury car tax?

From what I heard there must be at least one no cost option for paints. For example I've bought a veloster turbo couple years back and all the paints carried a metallic surcharge. However it was changed and one non metallic white colour was added as no additional cost.

They will mark up the price and call it 'demand ' and supply. Might need to get a deposit in quickly since alot of people would be interested now

Better pricing than I expected to be honest. Who knows what mark ups the dealers would charge. How much are typical on road coasts? 3-4k on top?

The dealer I went said with the deposit they enter on the computer. Then when the price and specs are finalised you come back in to sign it off. He didn't mention any form to me.

Tried to place an order today but the dealer wanted 5k deposit saying the mustang is going to be a big hit and they want more than the usual deposit. Ended up willing to accept 2k deposit and going on about bigger dealerships will get more allocation and they want to make sure people can afford...
