  1. MT82 COOKED

FYI, t56 is far more robust than 3160
  2. Engine and trans problems still exist(GT)?

@BladeGT the 10r80 are much more predictable and reliable on the 22’ models I know that for sure
  3. MT82 COOKED

Well, you don’t even need rev match to make it work on an 18 right?
  4. Engine and trans problems still exist(GT)?

Totally Understand. I have 4 kids all under 18 so I know the sentiment well. My suggestion is find a good s550 which has been tastefully modified by someone who knows what’s up with these cars and go from there. The mt82 is definitely not made for boost unless fully built. Ben Calimer. Or...
  5. Engine and trans problems still exist(GT)?

I have a blown 22’ GT Roush P2 e85 t56 Magnum swap with 11k on odo and car made 800+ whp on stock motor. As my pops used to say the car “runs like a striped ape” My suggestion is kop the whip and drive it till the wheels fall off…lol

  7. MT82 COOKED

I have a blown 22’ GT and it blew up the mt82 with 5k on the odo Now I’ve got 11k on the whip and t56 mag pulls like a freight train and comes back for more. The mt82 and Tremec are not even in the same category. Anyone looking to buy a new/used s550/s650 with M6 should go ahead and figure in...

Don’t put lipstick on that mt82 pig…go t56 Magnum swap

  12. Should I build my MT82 or go automatic?

Gents, I’m running a 800+ whp blown gen 3 Coyote with t56 swap on e85. The car is an absolute monster
  13. Should I build my MT82 or go automatic?

Tremec just released a t56 Magnum which keeps ALL OEM functions: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1F486RcCAt/?mibextid=wwXIfr All you gotta do now is save up the $$$ for the gearbox and the swap
  14. Should I build my MT82 or go automatic?

Definitely look into the new T56 Magnum for Gen 3 Coyote. Also, call up Brian at Finish Line Performance. Tell him Joel with the black Roush Supercharged s550 with t56 sent you over.
  15. Should I build my MT82 or go automatic?

That is a tricky install for sure. My setup is a 22’ GT and we have the t56 in right now. My shop was Finish Line Performance in Loveland Ohio. They installed a special module which tells the PCM the car is in a single gear. I have no backup camera or rev match. That being said, I would not...
  16. S550 Mustangs depreciate 26.8% after 5 years

Good point. Nevertheless, this is ALWAYS the conversation regarding vehicles. I’ve got more money invested in my s550 than I care to admit. I know I’ll never recoup those funds. I didn’t build the car to get my money back, I built the car because it’s been a lot of fun
  17. Should I build my MT82 or go automatic?

T56 Magnum swap and call it a day. The t56 will hold up for quite awhile at that type of horsepower
  18. S550 Mustangs depreciate 26.8% after 5 years

I guess there are several variables here…like the gen 3 Coyote is already being regarded as the “best” yet…s650 gen 4 Coyote makes a little more horsepower but less torque and gen 3 s550 are significantly cheaper than s650
  19. S550 Mustangs depreciate 26.8% after 5 years

I’m too busy APPRECIATING my s550 to think about it depreciating in value…in fact, the longer I have it the more I value my s550
