in the ford instructions its EXFAT. I tried to reset it. do the door trick, the battery trick nothing worked.

the new format is EXFAT file. and it told me my installation was successful it was not interrupted either. Apple carplay still works i just cant click on anything.

Had Sync 3 3.0. Never got the chance to see what it updated it to.

Ford sent an email on December 3rd saying "transform your commute with the new Sync 3 update" so i clicked the link, followed directions and downloaded the update. Never said what version it was, but It updated my system. next day I turn the car on and its bricked.

Same thing. But now when I click the email it shows the page is not available.

Whatever is was a lot of people are having issues with it.

3.4 is only for cars equipped with the new APIM 2019+ I’m starting to think we got 3.4 on the 16-17 and that’s what’s causing the issue.

I had 3.0. Never had the chance to see what it updated it to.

Having this issue on my 2017 right now. Apple CarPlay works but can’t press anything.

Does NAV show up in the screen if i have apple play but my sync 3 doesnt have a nav?
