I know this isn’t exactly related to the thread, but I had some weird rattling and resonance after the sub was installed at higher sound levels. No doubt because of the more powerful sub and the propensity of my car to rattle :) I had read on several threads about lowering a rear seat to let the...
Not a huge thing but the HD radio is just part of the B&O system, not a separate option. So the 995 is for the B&O system not the HD radio. Window sticker is weird like that, congrats!
I don’t think that you can control the recir and use auto. The auto has logic built in to the programming on when to use recirculating and not to based on target temps and actual temps.
I mean you can turn it off or on, but the next time the auto function has triggering event it will override.
Having owned MT82 in both an ecoboost and a GT, I can say that there is a difference.
I think the MT82 is probably a pretty perfect transmission for the eco. I don’t know if it is power levels or RPM difference, but it seemed like a good match.
On the GT, it seems like less of a good match...
yea, I scoured the spec sheets and I couldn’t find one difference. Visually, the 250 has a silver ring in the cone around the pioneer, and the 100 is all black.
I got this done today, perfect. Exactly like it should have been from the factory. Thank you OP for putting this together.
I ordered a TS-A250D4, but they sent me a TS-A100D4. I looked at the specs on the pioneer website and couldn’t see any differences....so I went with it. Maybe it is just a...
Surprised no one said it, but the 18+ A10 (I think you said you wanted an auto) is superior to the old A6, so for me that would immediately eliminate the 15-17. Also, active exhaust is one of my favorite features (if not my favorite) and isn’t that expensive from the factory ($895? I think)...
Installed the BMR 4 point front brace, the IRS Support (CB762), the cradle lockout kit, and the centering sleeves.
Plus I rotated the tires, all in a good days work (and it was some work).
Yes, that is correct...the beveled edge does not go into the opening at all by hand. But the bolt is long enough, and with the washer, it holds the sleeve reasonably straight. Then tightening the bolt, it went right in.
I installed the BMR IRS support CB762 and the front 4 point front brace...
FYI, I was able to install the centering sleeves (BMR) on a 2020 today with out issue from the bottom. There is a lip, but I was able get past it.
I used the supplied bolt, greased the sleeve, and inserted with the tapered end up. The bolt took the sleeve about 50% of the way before bottoming...
There was a diagram posted somewhere if I find it again I’ll post it, but the cellular antenna was located within the body (I believe on the driver rear quarter panel) of the vehicle for the pancake antenna. The shark antenna has the cellular antenna built in, not sure why the change, except...
yea, job 1 2020s have the pancake (that’s what I have as well) and the passenger seat back pocket. Job 2, which started late January or early February, went to shark fin and no seat back pocket.
Thus I have come to the conclusion that the 2020 Job 1 Mustangs are the best Mustangs in the S550...
I looked it up and I’m intrigued. It is nice to see a dyno graph from another person and not the company trying to sell something. I am always willing to change my mind if the evidence supports it. But now I am wondering why? Especially the torque down low. You see improvement in the high RPM...
@ColoradoGT
if you understood how Ford tuned cars, you’d understand why it really does come down to the “computer” and bolt ons are not that effective absent a tune. If you’re really interested then there are lots of forums and articles out there, but basically unless the CAI can exceed the...
