Finally found some time to start installing the Steeda goodies I ordered before Thanksgiving (thanks to TJ and Randy). The question I have is regarding the front shocks. Once I had them on the car, I couldn't torque down the strut rod nut, it just keeps spinning.

I have installed my own stereos on the past but they were simple. From what you are saying that sounds like more trouble then it may be worth for me :shrug:

Has anyone managed to install an aftermarket head unit yet? It seems like people are either upgrading to the premium screen or TomTop/Moddication/Raxiom unit and it doesn't seem all the bugs have been worked out yet for a $700 unit. It would be nice to drop in a Pioneer or Alpine hu with RCA...
I'm in the same boat as the OP on getting the first set of suspension mods. From what I've been reading, BMR SP080 are good springs for a daily driver.
However, I'm still unsure if I should be going all out for Koni's or maybe just the Steeda non-adjustable shocks.

How do Handling Springs (SP083) pair up with Koni shocks for a daily driver? Aside from from springs/shocks, what other suspension mods are recommended when lowering the car?
Just picked up a 16 base GT with 18" foundry rims and back up sensors for $30,300 (before Taxes and fees). Dealer also gave me above KBB for my trade in(slightly underwater). Overall I'm happy with the deal and very excited for new adventures with the mustang
