Nice, did it go away completely? My buddy says we are wearing out the center support driveshaft bearing So I was wondering if and when we get the pinion angle correct did we already put a small amount of slop in that bearing. Yea I could try that I just don’t know how close my hood is lol.
I don’t think it will fit, but if I do goto stock height and it fits I’ll let you know! I didn’t want the manifold touching the hood since the motor raises up when you hit the gas. If you do decide to cut it hit me up for a video for some pointers, learn from my mistakes so you can do it...
Oh ok the auto trans must be different, my crossmember is only two bolts. They were long enough for 1/4 inch but I remember thinking if I had to put a 1/2 stack of washers on them we might be running low on the amount of threads going in there. Honestly without me being an expert on pinion...
Yes, low speed and shifting. My buddy is a master mechanic and I took it to his shop we rode in it he felt it then we put it on the lift and he said the pinion angle is off. After studying the driveline for a minute he said if I lower the trans crossmember it should recorrect, so I said ok I’ll...
I have a six speed and lowered my engine 1/2 inch. The jerkyness and thuds as I shift up and down as the driveshaft slams the joint was ridiculous. I just lowered my trans a 1/4 inch to fix the angle and it’s way better but there’s still some Mild thudding/jerkyness. I think if I go another 1/4...
I did have a lot of tension on it to reach the ford racing cold air tube so I rerouted it and it’s looser now, I’m thinking maybe I messed a connection up in the connector
I’m tuned with Lund we have some similarities but also differences mine happens with e85 and 93 I get cel and service advancedtrac And wrench every time but I do not have to pull over I can drive it low rpm no problem. I have heard that these tuners can fry our pcms with these bs email tunes...
Haha I hope your problem stays away. I have a cobra jet intake vmp twin 69 and ford racing cold air along with full exhaust headers back and am running e85. It’ll run fine for a period of time but then the service advance track light will come on along with maf codes. My maf sensor voltage jumps...
