The IRS defines your profit as "taxable income", and unfortunately you have provided them with the info to be tagged. Do not under estimate them, they are relentless.

I placed an order this Monday 4/18/16 and received the DORA on the same day. Last year I placed an order 10/14/15 and received the DORA the same day. Unfortunately the allocation was never pulled and that car never got built.
I was the only allocation. I know the dealer well, he didn't drop the ball on this one. I don't know if he will get two allocations for 2017. If he doesn't, he loses some $$ from a sale.
When I talked to Ford Performance last Friday, they told me I was not alone, there were more customer orders unbuilt. So why not continue the 2016 built an extra week or whatever and build them?
