When did you order?

Has anyone received their serial number or window sticker for a 2017 Shelby yet. I know of only one R sticker, the car is bound for Canada.

My dealer checked the Ford web this morning and it showed no Mustangs scheduled for the next two weeks. Anyone have any info on this?

Does anyone have an actual complete vin number and build date for a 2017? FP says there are no 2017 Shelbys scheduled yet.

The same thing happened to me. I ordered 10/14/15 from a dealer who was in the Shelby program with an allocation. I found out two weeks ago the car would not be built. It was most likely the Area Rep. did a dirty deal with another dealer (you take 10 F150s and I will give you a Shelby...

Deysha, I am having a problem with a 2016 Shelby order that no one with Ford is able to help me with. Do you have a email address that I can fax you a copy of the DORA and some info pertaining to the problem. At this point you may be my last hope. Thank you. John

I placed an order this Monday 4/18/16 and received the DORA on the same day. Last year I placed an order 10/14/15 and received the DORA the same day. Unfortunately the allocation was never pulled and that car never got built.

No, just my favorite color, Black & shiny! It will be the same car, just a year newer.

I was the only allocation. I know the dealer well, he didn't drop the ball on this one. I don't know if he will get two allocations for 2017. If he doesn't, he loses some $$ from a sale.

When I talked to Ford Performance last Friday, they told me I was not alone, there were more customer orders unbuilt. So why not continue the 2016 built an extra week or whatever and build them?

Right now my ace in the hole is this senior customer service manager. She seems to have "the power" to get things done. Time will tell.
